Zesty Crockpot Pinto Beans
During these hot summer months of July no one wants to heat up the stove to make dinner. That’s why I love crockpot meals! You just add all of your ingredients to the pot early in the day and leave it. Magically, you have a meal ready at dinnertime. No fuss, no muss!
Here is one of my favorite crockpot recipes. It takes very little prep and the ingredients are very affordable. It ends up costing around $2 for the whole meal!
Zesty Crockpot Pinto Beans
1 16 oz bag of pinto beans
3 tbs chili powder
3 tbs seasoned salt
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
Put all of the ingredients into the crockpot and fill crock to top with water. Cook for 5 hours. Makes five hearty soup bowls full.
